Today we will
1. Finish our crazy "Dog-head business guy with flower eyes on a crazy background".
2. Create a new project
On Monday we learned a little bit about some of the creative Adobe tools available (paintbrush) by using the iPad app "Adobe Draw".
Today we will will begin using Photoshop on our Laptops. Here's what we'll practice: 1. Learn to import photos 2. Merge files into a single PS project 3. Make selections 4. Make layer masks 5. Hide & Reveal layers using Layer Masks. Use the following assets for this project. This will be our first Composite project. By the way: I learn what I know by using tutorials I find online. Basically any Photoshop question you have will be answered with a simple search, and quite often in Youtube. Here's a few very basic (but fun) tutorials to get you started. I'm super pumped that you decided to join the Photography & Photoshop club, because we are going make some really cool stuff in the coming 5 weeks.
What will we do each class?
Here's what you need to do today: 1) Download and install the Bamboo Intuos tablet driver 2) Register an account with https://accounts.adobe.com/ 3) Check out the slideshow for today Well, we're down to the wire here! We only have 2 more sessions!
Your goal: to finish a project by Wednesday and submit your best creation to me for this website. Let me know what I can help you with!! Here's some funny drawings to get your creativity stirring. These sort of drawings can be created with Photoshop or Illustrator, and can also be made using the Adobe Draw app on the iPads. Have fun!!! See more of Alex Solis' work here. |
